We need to give a count to the Elks in advance so reservations are required. Please call or email Nils Wagenhals at (509) 209-6439 or at nwagen@comcast.net by 5:00 PM Wednesday, Nov 5.
As usual we will start with a Mart at 9:30 AM, have the business meeting around 11:00 and lunch at noon. The programs from NAWCC will be “Modern Timing Tools” and “Wheel and Pinion Cutting.” Horology related items starting with the letter “H” will be our show and tell exhibit items.

The meeting at the CdA Inn was opened by President Pearson with voice approval for the minutes and Treasurer’s report. Larry announced that a get well card for Don Edwards was being circulated and happily noted the attendance of Jean King. New member Wes Schmidt introduced himself. The Treasurer reported that in 2007 we had donated $750 to horological venues and $450 so far in 2008.
The national’s proposal for standard Chapter Charters was discussed. VP Dennis Armstrong suggested that NAWCC could help by telling new members about their local chapters and by individual mailings to chapters reporting new members in their area. Dennis volunteered to learn more about what incorporating the Chapter would entail. NAWCC encourages incorportation.
We need exhibit suggestions for our 2010 Regional at the Spokane Conv. Ctr. Perhaps give table space to Mart holders setting up display or how-to exhibits?
